Who we are

Southern Marin Agents was built by people who know Marin the way only locals can, and who spent years in Bay Area tech watching friends try to figure the place out from the outside.

We grew up here. We know the back roads, the school conversations, the morning fog patterns, the trailheads, the ferry routines, and the small distinctions that make one neighborhood feel completely different from the next.

The idea started while working in tech in San Francisco. As friends reached the same stage of life — marriage, kids, more space, better schools, more nature — Marin kept coming up, and the questions were always the same: which town, what’s the difference, who do I trust to help.

So we built the thing we kept wishing existed: an independent, invitation-based guide to the agents who truly specialize here — reviewed with a local lens, not by advertising budget.
