Downtown
San Anselmo Avenue, the Hub, and the antique strip.
Downtown San Anselmo runs along San Anselmo Avenue between the Hub and Bolinas Avenue, long known as the antique capital of Northern California and still the densest concentration of independent boutiques, family restaurants, and weekend foot traffic in central Marin. The Sunday farmers market, Memorial Park, and the Sleeping Lady are all within a few blocks of one another. Homes here are mostly 1900s–30s Craftsmans, bungalows, and the occasional Victorian on tight, walkable blocks under mature oaks.
